Fields of Grace is an outreach ministry to give hope to the children and people of Burkina Faso in Africa. Through generous donors and volunteers, we are changing the lives of many people. This year, thanks to some very generous donors, 63 children were sponsored to go to school. Many donors also supplied rice and bikes for their children. This year we will be starting a daily feeding program for our school kids.  We hope to soon buy land and build a Christian school. The literacy rate is only 10% in Burkina and we also want to help woman to learn to read and write. We are currently working on restructuring our school program to encompass the children and their families in other areas besides education. We hope to be able to offer them food each month and also to help with their medical needs. Many people die of malaria. A simple shot for $12.00 can help save many lives. We have no desire to be big but our goal is to help meet the need of our children and families in several basic areas as fully as we can. We feel that this sets everyone up for greater success in the future.

Through generous donors we are also working on teaching a group of people living in extreme poverty skills to garden, raise livestock and to teach them a trade so they can take care of their families themselves. By doing this we can also employ some of these people to help us with our projects. Along with this we will also be offering a feeding program to children in this same area in Burkina.
We also will be taking in several young teens with babies who are living on the street and will provide for their needs along with their babies and teach them self skills and a trade so they can provide for their small families.

We cannot do this without people with a big heart and passion to do something bigger in the world. And YES, it only takes ONE person to change their world. Won’t you be that ONE?
